Yunlin's premium food products shine on the international stage
(中央社訊息服務20251103 15:57:54)Yunlin County Magistrate Chang Li-shan (張麗善) visited the Food Taipei Mega Shows 2025 on the 26th. In addition to promoting Yunlin's products at the Yunlin Goods Market, she also visited various exhibitors' booths, inquiring about their product features and sales performance. Chang noted that Yunlin boasts abundant and high-quality products, and this year's exhibits encompass a wide range of agricultural, fishery, and livestock products, each of which is of premium quality. She welcomes both professional buyers and consumers to purchase.

Chang highlighted that this year's Food Taipei Mega Shows featured not only 20 carefully selected vendors from the county government, forming the Yunlin Quality Products Market, but also over 68 vendors participating in the exhibition. Exhibits included fresh fruits and vegetables, organic produce, health foods, specialty processed goods, and souvenirs. This showcased not only the rich diversity of high-quality products from Taiwan but also the strength of Yunlin's integrated agricultural and food industries, from production to the table.

Chang said that food exhibitions are not only marketing platforms but also crucial venues for businesses to identify partnership opportunities. As Taiwan's largest fruit, vegetable, and livestock production center, Yunlin County consistently achieves impressive sales results at major food exhibitions both domestically and internationally. Food exhibitions also allow businesses to connect with domestic and international buyers through on-site exchanges and matchmaking, expanding export channels and outlets. She expressed confidence that Yunlin's products at this year's Food Taipei Mega Shows would once again achieve impressive order results.

Titled "Exploring Yunlin's Delicacies," the Yunlin Goods Market features agricultural products carefully selected by the county government. Chang emphasized that this is a valuable opportunity for both professional buyers and casual food traders. The exhibits also featured different highlighted products each day, as well as the Gukeng Coffee Bar. Everyone is welcome to visit the Yunlin Good Products Pavilion to explore the finest products and savor Gukeng coffee, the home of Taiwanese coffee, she said.

Wei Sheng-de (魏勝德), Director of the County Government's Department of Agriculture, stated that Yunlin is a major agricultural center with abundant agricultural resources and advanced processing technology, enabling it to transform traditional agriculture into high-value-added food products to compete internationally. He underscored that the Yunlin Goods Market offers a wide selection of delicacies from land and sea, vegetables, fruits, rice, and noodles, and welcomes everyone to shop.
Wei pointed out that food expos are not only marketing platforms but also crucial venues for businesses to identify partnership opportunities. The county government will continue to implement three major strategies: building marketing platforms, establishing industry guidance mechanisms, and expanding cross-border channels. These strategies will help the county's agricultural and food businesses continuously upgrade and enter the international arena, thereby realizing the vision of sustainable agriculture and economic prosperity.
