Yunlin County agricultural products officially introduced to Malaysia’s NSK Group supermarket chain

This time, the government has collaborated with Yumei Biotec Corporation and GEOXSmart Innovation Group to successfully establish a Yunlin Goods section in the popular Malaysian supermarket chain NSK Group, selling 17 high-quality agricultural processed products. Yunlin County Magistrate Chang Li-shan (張麗善) led a delegation on April 10 to cut the ribbon and sign an MOU for the launch of the Yunlin Goods section. The government hopes to continue to deepen brand exchanges in the future and promote more Yunlin delicacies to the world.

County Magistrate Chang stated that Yunlin County boasts abundant natural resources and rigorously controls product quality and food safety, hoping that consumers both at home and abroad can enjoy Yunlin’s delicious cuisine without any concern. She expressed her profound honor to see Yunlin’s premium products featured in NSK supermarkets across Malaysia. She also hopes that through the signing of this MOU, Yunlin County’s highest quality and finest products will be introduced and enjoyed by Malaysian customers.

Magistrate Chang pointed out that NSK is a well-known and popular wholesale and retail supermarket chain brand in Malaysia. Through this collaboration with NSK Group, a Yunlin quality product section has been established in the popular NSK supermarket in Malaysia. The section will sell 17 products from six partners, including crispy peanuts from the Huwei Township Farmers’ Association, mille-feuille and roasted seaweed from Shang Feng Global Enterprise Co., Ltd., rice crackers from Esun Rice Mill, sweet potato chips from Uncle Sweet CO., LTD, seaweed chips from Taiwon Food Industrial Co., Ltd., and fruit jellies from Feng Hsi Food Corp. This will not only increase the exposure of Yunlin Goods, a boutique brand, but also offer more valuable and high-quality choices to local consumers. The county government hopes that more Malaysians will be able to taste and enjoy Yunlin’s local cuisine.

Representative James Buu (卜正珉) of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia said he was pleased to witness the signing ceremony between Yunlin Goods and NSK Group. He added the combination of the NSK platform and Yunlin Goods’ high quality is definitely good news for Malaysian consumers.
