(中央社訊息服務20241025 16:33:35)The Foundation for Yunus Social Business Taiwan established the "Taichung Yunus Story House" in Guangfu New Village, Wufeng, Taichung, where it regularly holds Yunus Baby Boss courses. These sessions allowed children to put on aprons and learn sustainable crafts and financial, playing the role of a Yunus Baby Boss for a day. The program received praise from local parents. Recently, the Yunus Baby Boss event was invited to Rui-Ching Village in Taoyuan, where children learned through games about the 3ZERO Vision—Zero net carbon emissions, Zero poverty, and Zero unemployment—along with saving and financial management skills. The goal was to help children absorb these concepts as they grow, with the hope that they could eventually become forces for good in the future.

Yunus Baby Boss' Taoyuan Journey was initiated by Representative Huang Hsin-Yun in Ruei-Ching Village, in collaboration with the Rui-Ching Village Development Association. The event was held at ONE HOW SPACE, and the participants were elementary school children from a local after-school care program for the disadvantaged youth. The sustainable crafting session was led by Huang Jui-Jen, Founder of嚮起應用股份有限公司,who taught the children how to create leaf-hammering art, blending creativity and environmental awareness to help them understand sustainability. The financial literacy session was taught by Dr. Chiang Chi-Yun, a parenting finance education author, who explained the importance of saving and financial management, giving the children a foundation for smart money management. The event also allowed the kids to role-play as Yunus Baby Boss, experiencing the joy of running their own shops.

In her speech, Philippa Tsai, President of the Foundation for Yunus Social Business Taiwan, expressed her gratitude to Representative Huang for the invitation, allowing the Yunus Baby Boss to expand their impact beyond Taichung and bring joy and learning to children in Taoyuan. Juno Wang, CEO of the foundation, shared with the story of how Professor Yunus founded the Grameen Bank to help disadvantaged women escape poverty, encouraging the children to follow his spirit by studying hard and contributing to public welfare. Representative Huang Hsin-Yun also wished them success in applying what they had learned in their daily lives, hoping they would grow up to be smart entrepreneurs who make the world a better place.
A special moment during the event occurred when the financial literacy teacher asked the children how they would use the money they earned. One child, who had previously been helped by others, immediately said “I want to donate it to those in need.” In the feedback session, many of the children enthusiastically said, "I want to join the activity again!"

Professor Muhammad Yunus, laureate of the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize, once said, "Everyone can change the world." The Foundation for Yunus Social Business Taiwan is committed to this belief, continuing to organize activities that inspire more people to join in changing the world and creating a brighter future.
