The Hualien County Government published the second volume of "A Pledge to Preserve the Beauty of Our Land"* at the end of November this year. The special edition was first launched in 2022 and tells the sustainable stories of Hualien in both Chinese and English. It has received wide acclaim and, due to popular demand, the second volume's online version is now available. This allows more readers both domestically and internationally who are interested in sustainability issues to read it in advance. Data Hualien: Presenting Data through Visualized Charts

Starting from the "Data Observation Station" section of the special edition, readers can familiarize themselves with Hualien’s natural and geographical data, helping them better understand the county’s background. The publication further explores population and healthcare, economic and industrial sectors, offering insights into Hualien’s social welfare and economic landscape. In the feature stories, related data and information are visualized, such as in the “One Minute to Know Dongdamen Night Market” and the “Lichuan Fishery Circulating Aquaculture” sections. These visual guides allow readers to quickly grasp the content.

Exploring More Diverse Sustainable Stories, from Tourism to Local Industries
