On August 8, Hualien County Mayor Hsu Chen-Wei attended the official press conference, inviting visitors from around the globe to admire the dazzling scenery and breathe in the soul-soothing mountain air.
Mayor Hsu noted that Hualien’s pristine mountains and rivers are especially enchanting during the annual daylily season in Fuli Township and Yuli Township, which coincides with Taiwan’s peak domestic travel period. Paired with seasonal itineraries and events carefully planned by the Fuli Township Farmers’ Association and Yuxi District Farmers’ Association, the flower season offers a perfect escape for both locals and visitors.
