A FREE BIBLE COURSE THAT CHANGES LIVES A Global Campaign Offers Practical Solutions for Life’s Problems

Mrs. Hsiao often wondered where she could find practical advice for the struggles of daily life. The answers came from an unlikely source.

Mrs. Hsiao, who lives in Zhonghe, New Taipei, found clear solutions in the Scriptures through a free Bible course provided by Jehovah’s Witnesses. Now she will be among the more than eight million volunteers worldwide who will participate in a global campaign in September to extend the same offer to community members.

“The Bible’s simple yet powerful teachings have improved my marriage, family life, and personal relationships. Applying the Bible principles of tolerance and understanding in my marriage have greatly improved our relationship, which was prone to quarrels. In addition, it has brought me great comfort to see the superior results that come from using Bible principles to teach my children despite the challenges,” said Mrs. Hsiao. “In terms of improving interpersonal relations, learning how to manage conflict between colleagues has brought great benefits. I never imagined that the Bible would be so helpful to me! I can’t wait to share this with others during the special global campaign in September!”

The Witnesses organize yearly special campaigns to raise awareness of how the Scriptures address the concerns of the public. “We received many positive experiences from the special campaign we had in September 2022, which focused on Bible studies,” said Johnson Jan, local spokesperson for the nonprofit organization. “We want to build on that positive feedback and keep the door open to our community to learn about the answers found in the Bible.”

An interactive and concise three-lesson brochure titled “Enjoy Life Forever!” is included in the campaign and explains what the Bible teaches on these subjects:

• How Can the Bible Help You?
• The Bible Gives Hope for the Future.
• Can You Trust the Bible?

“Participating in this Bible study course does not obligate a person to become one of Jehovah’s Witnesses,” says Jan. “We are pleased just to present what the Bible teaches so that people can benefit from this rich source of wisdom and guidance.”

The course comes with an extended learning option that details how to apply time-tested Bible-based advice for making good decisions, building lasting friendships and cultivating a happy family life.

Anyone interested can meet with an instructor either in person or virtually and at a time convenient for the individual. In 2023, the Witnesses conducted an average of more than seven million Bible studies each month in some 240 lands.

Mrs. Hsiao is thankful to be among that seven million. “What I learned during my Bible study has made me so happy and changed my life for the better,” she said. “I’m confident that others will reap the same benefits if they just give it a try.”
